Personally qualified in waterproofing
I’m Victor from Holy Mess Repairs, and I’m personally qualified in waterproofing (Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing, trained in NSW). Waterproofing isn’t a side line for us. We waterproof leaking balconies, showers and bathrooms, gutters, roofs and rooftops: anywhere water is getting in. We use Sikaflex, or whatever membrane you request.
Find the source before you redo the membrane
Re-waterproofing a whole balcony is expensive, so it’s worth knowing it’s the cause first. We use moisture and thermal scanning and dye testing to confirm where the water gets in. Sometimes it’s the membrane. Sometimes it’s an air-conditioning drain, a penetration or a flashing next to it.
